  • EP58 Can You Do It Better?

    09/09/2019 Duración: 08min

We've all said it. At one time or another, we've all looked at a fellow employee and said we could do it better. We said we could be a better employer, a better manager or a better boss. Usually, that comes out of a time of frustration. What we're not considering is that there is most likely a lot more to the story than what we see. It's not easy being the boss or the employer. So, can you? Can you do it better? Check out the article and let me know what you think.

  • EP57 Be Someone Who Believes In Something

    27/08/2019 Duración: 06min

What do you believe in? Is it built into your work or your business? It should. People, future clients and customers are attracted to businesses that have taken a stand with their beliefs. It's what drives most people and business owners to succeed. If you want to have a great job or a great business, figure out what you believe in.

  • EP56 Progress Is Not Leadership

    19/08/2019 Duración: 08min

There is a difference between progress and leadership. Many people confuse getting things done with being a leader. It's not the same. In EP56 I talk about how it's easy to get lost between the two. It's great to accomplish tasks every day, but make sure they are focused on the common goal. Otherwise, you are just keeping busy.

  • EP55 Anti-Remote Work Is About Ego

    12/08/2019 Duración: 07min

There are a lot of people that have a misunderstanding of Remote Work. Time and again people have told me, Remote Work didn't work, so they had to bring everyone back in. The Anti-Remote Work stance is typically because of four reasons, the CEO is egocentric, they are disorganized, they don't have a plan or they are afraid. In this Audio Blog, we'll go through some of the reasons this happens and some solutions to fix it. Thanks for listening!

  • EP54 Creating Your Idea Engine

  • EP53 Why Do We Fall Out Of Love With Our Clients

    29/07/2019 Duración: 05min

Clients don't last forever. Most of the time it's our fault, because we didn't explain to the client how we like to work or we said yes, when we really meant no. Whatever the intention, in this episode we examine why client relationships end and how we can part in an amicable way.

  • EP52 Most Entrepreneurs Are Accidentally Risky

    05/11/2018 Duración: 05min

Every entrepreneur I've met views risk completely different than anyone else. People may think they take huge risks with their money, but in fact, they are quite frugal. The good entrepreneurs scrutinize every penny. With them, the old adage rings true, it's not the money you spend, it's the money you save.

  • EP51 Going All In On The Web Part 2

    29/10/2018 Duración: 16min

The following is a three part series of how I migrated from Apple to the Google ecosystem and completely changed how I work and thought about the web. This is Part 2.

  • EP50 Travel When Youre Young

    19/11/2016 Duración: 06min

What’s important in your life changes. It will flip flop often. You will seek spirituality and self-existence and then something happens and you need more money. You will focus on your education and career and then someone you know leaves this planet too early and you re-evaluate your priorities. We get caught up in our daily lives, because we have to and then in a glimpse, we have a moment of clarity. It might be in a grocery line, taking your kid to school or driving to work. You take note, remind yourself you need to get out more, get outside, but then you quickly snap back into what you were doing. The good thing is that nag, never really goes away. It gets built on, thought about and organized. Your hope is that you will someday pull that trigger and do what you want to do, before it’s too late.
